A panoramic view of some of the vineyards that make up the Napa Valley American Viticultural Area (AVA) in Northern California. Napa Valley is considered one of the top winemaking regions in the United States, and as shown in the Paris Wine Tasting of 1976, is capable of producing the best quality wine—equal to that of Old World wine regions.
