Two anemone stinkhorns (Aseroe rubra), a common and widespread Australian saprotroph fungus recognised by its foul odour of carrion and shape resembling a sea anemone when mature. The fungus attracts flies, which spread its spores. It is found on woodchips and mulch and is common in gardens, alpine grasslands and woodlands.
