필리핀 군도의 지형을 담은 물리적 지도입니다. 필리핀 군도는 7,107 개의 섬으로 구성된 군도(다도해)입니다. 이들중 가장 큰 섬은 루손 섬이라고 합니다. 이들은 화산활동인해 생겨난 섬들이며 환태평양지진대의 일부분이고, 대부분 산악지형입니다. 이 나라에서 가장 높은 지점은 민다나오에 위치한 아포산으로 해발 2,954미터입니다. 섬들 대부분은 열대우림으로 덮혀져 있었으나, 불법 벌목으로 인해 전체 국토면적에 10%도 안되게 산림이 조성된 상태 입니다. (2004년 기준)

Physical map of physical geography of the Philippines. The Philippines is an archipelago of 7,107 islands. The largest of these islands is Luzon. The islands are volcanic in origin, being part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, and are mostly mountainous. The highest point in the country is the peak of Mt. Apo in Mindanao, which is 2,954 m above sea level. Most of the islands used to be covered in tropical rainforests, however, due to illegal logging, the forest cover has been reduced to less than 10% of the total land area.
